A delicious, post race, meal on a cold Sunday, the food and service warmed us up physically and emotionally. We tried the curry club option and tasted a range of dishes, all excellent. A particular favourite was the cauliflower. The staff were very friendly and helpful, would recommend and revisit

Fantastic food, excellent friendly staff who explained the menu options clearly and thoroughly. Would highly recommend.

Ate there on a busy Saturday night, yet the staff still were professional, friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was very welcoming and it was so good to see a busy place with everyone enjoying themselves. what to say about the food? Well it was exquisite, we got a number of small dishes, very Tapas style and each one was amazing. The cauliflower Manchurian was beyond mouth watering. would recommend to anyone who likes great food

We were in Roker recently and were looking for food options and came across My Delhi. I am so glad we decided to have our lunch here. This is a gem of a Indian restaurant in the UK. Didnt expect such taste in Roker, Sunderland! The restaurant gives you authentic Indian food. Every gravy tasted unique doing justice to the dish's name, unlike so many restaurants in UK claiming to serve Indian food with all the gravies tasting exactly the same, sweet taste. Indian curries are hardly sweet, so it was such a pleasant surprise to have the authentic Indian taste after a long time. We ordered a lot of dishes and everything was scrumptious chilly chicken, chicken biriyani, lamb curries, paneer thali, keema kulcha.. everything was packed with flavour! LIIT was also very perfectly made. A special mention to our server, Nikhil who took care of our large group & was very friendly and recommended that we try the gulab jamun and gajar halwa for dessert and it was amazing!

The chicken was seasoned lovely and tasted like it had been barbecued and the paneer was nice and crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. Special mention to the chips (which had loads of flavour) and the cheese naan (which oozed cheese throughout) We were served by Melanie and nothing was a problem, she explained the dishes and difference between small plates and currie and gave advice on each. We felt very well treated by Melanie and thanks To summarise we will certainly be back !

When we got there we got a warm welcome and got shown to our table. The menu looked great but slightly confusing with the appetisers, starter and main dishes and asked for help and one member of the staff was happy to help. One of the kitchen staff came up with two plates and told us to becareful as they were very hot in which was really nice of him to tell us. When the food arrived and it was quick, the food looked and tasted amazing. I've been to a few curry houses in Sunderland and My Delhi has to be the top spot for me. There have a nice selection of beers, wine and cocktails in which cocktails always a hit with me and after trying a couple I wasn't disappointed. If you can't eat all of food they can provide some takeaway boxes for you to take home.

I went on Thursday evening with a couple of my friends. Morgan and Melanie were our waitresses and they were really nice and chatty. The restaurant was clean and the food was amazing. Definitely worth a visit!

Food absolutely unreal very tasty. Service was fantastic we were serve by Melanie nothing was a problem. Cocktails were lovely too very nice atmosphere couldn’t fault it 10/10
